Students at Allenby participate in a variety of activities that promote wellness. This includes mindfulness breaks. Many classes take short breaks that allow children to slow down and refocus their attention after resting and thinking calming thoughts, or after a few simple yoga poses.
A few tips about mindfulness, growth mindset, and mental health were reviewed at the Grade 1-6 assembly that coincided with #BellLetsTalk Day on January 27.
