The DEI and Health & Wellness committee supports Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Allenby by working to:
- Provide support for parents who want to take part in education around inclusivity, intersectionality, privilege, equity, anti-racism and diversity.
- Build capacity to enhance our learning as caregivers and community members by providing and making resources accessible and giving voices/platforms as well as facilitate listening and dialogue for the Allenby community.
- Challenge systemic ideals present in our school community by connecting with school initiatives and bridging our learning from school to community.
