Chair’s Message

It’s only the first week of school, but the APA team has been busy gearing up for another terrific year. Students will have received the APA’s forms package along with the school’s forms earlier this week. Please read carefully through the APA Package as it contains information on monthly meetings, pizza lunch registration, class representative sign up, hot lunch and our annual donation drive.

Here’s a quick summary to help you stay organized.

  • Amilia – Back by popular demand, our online registrations and payment solution Amilia will give you access to all of the APA programs that your kids love. If you are new to Amilia, click here for a quick “how to”.
  • Pizza Lunch – Pizza orders for the whole year are due by September 15th. Login to Amilia to order now! Pizza lunch happens on the last Friday of each month and our first pizza lunch is scheduled for September 29th.
  • Rose Reisman Hot Lunch – Registration and Ordering starts on September 11th and lunches can be ordered for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (excluding Pizza Lunch Fridays).   • Class Representatives – To express interest, please download, complete and print or email the Class Representative Form. Forms are due to the office by September 15th. Hard copy forms are also available in the office.
  • 2017/18 Family Directory – Accepting online submissions ONLY (Family DirectoryChanges). All new families and change of information for returning families should be submitted online before September 15, 2017.
  • Allenby is Amazing Annual Donation Drive – Please consider donating $50 per child towards our Allenby is Amazing donation drive. Donations of ANY amount are greatly appreciated and are eligible for income tax receipts. This year, the APA and the school have aligned their budgets to achieve efficiencies in spending on literacy items, STEM resources, arts projects, physical education equipment and health & safety initiatives.   • APA Meetings – The APA’s first meeting of the 2017/2018 school year will be held on Wednesday September 27th from 7 pm to 9 pm in the school library. An agenda and information about babysitting will be posted the week prior to the meeting.
