As we come to the final newsletter of the 2011-2012 school year, I want to wish everyone a wonderful summer. Whatever your plans may be, I hope everyone can enjoy the beautiful and longer days with their families, laugh a lot, feel the sun on their faces, and re-charge for an amazing 2012-2013 school year.
On a personal note, I would like to thank each and every parent, teacher and staff at our school for all of your help, time and interest over the past school year. As I have said so many times, it is that unique energy and vibrancy that makes Allenby such a special place for all of our children. The volunteers who give of their time, whether it be as an executive member, a class parent, a committee member, a contributor of services, a kiss ‘n’ ride parent standing in the rain to help our children out of the car, or a pizza server on a crazy Pizza Friday, every role helps our school and should be recognized and applauded.
You have all made my role as Chair special in so many ways. As I sign off for another school year I say thank you to all of you.
