Alexis Dawson’s Talk About Race workshop originally scheduled for January 19th is postponed, and the revised date will be communicated in next week’s newsletter.
The APA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee has organized this workshop as the first of a 3-part series that Alexis will facilitate for our school.
The workshop will be followed by:
- Facilitated Book Club: “So You Want to Talk About Race” by Ijeoma Oluo (Date TBC)
- School Improvement Plan Workshop (April 7)
In the meantime, consider placing a copy of Ijeoma Oluo’s book on hold at the library or downloading it on Audible.
