Last year we had an assembly to let students know about a Kids’ Triatholon. This year we have not been able to schedule it, so the information is below for interested families. It will be held on Sunday June 9, 2013 from noon to 6pm.
Nicola’s Kids Triathlon is the premiere event for children to have fun and help other children right in our own community.
This triathlon is great for first timers as well as more serious athletes – it is all about personal achievement. The distances are short, any bike will do and the kids can do all or just one of the segments. After the race the children can all enjoy the activities and a BBQ.
The first goal for the event is for the kids to have fun and be exhilarated by their accomplishments.
The second goal for the day is to raise money for research. 100% of the donations are placed directly with the MFM research projects at SickKids Hospital.
