Hello Allenby Families,
You may have heard that the Grade 6’s are planning an amazing Bingo Night in support of their grad trip. A reminder that there will be a fun and relaxing Family Games Lounge happening in the library at the same time, on Wednesday, February 4, 6–8 pm. Anyone can visit the library, even if you are not playing bingo. Just stop by and check it out!
What can you expect?
A space to build community and connect with family and friends. Play games, learn new card games, make a bookmark, try out a book, and work on a community puzzle.
Found something you like? Don’t worry, all of the games, puzzles, and books are pre-loved and for sale! This supports literacy, problem-solving, and gets us through those cold nights. All proceeds go to the general APA funds to support school programs.
Cash only—all items are priced at $2–$5, so please bring loonies and toonies.
Are you able to help? We would love volunteers for the bookmark station, help with sales, and/or to keep an eye on the games being played.
Please note: Any unpurchased books, puzzles, and games will be either offered to teachers for free to fill classroom libraries and hands-on activities, saved for future APA fundraising, or donated.
