Many people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday … now GivingTuesday has come to Canada. The 2nd annual GivingTuesday Canada is Tuesday, December 2. In the same way that Black Friday opens the shopping season, GivingTuesday opens the giving season, uniting charities, companies, schools and individuals in the spirit of giving.
To kick off the season of giving, the APA is holding a winter clothing drive in support of students in need at neighbouring TDSB elementary and high schools. Please take a look in your closets for gently used children’s and/or adult winter coats, snowpants, boots, hats, scarves and mitts and drop them off between November 24 and December 2 in the box located outside the school office.
