December APA Meeting
The next APA meeting is on Monday, December 16 from 7-9 in the library. We have a full agenda, including updates on Field and Technology and three motions. A reminder to all, a motion under $1000 can be voted on at the meeting it is raised at and a motion over $1000 will be tabled and voted on the following month. New FSLAC Coordinator
The APA would like to thank and welcome Erin Needra, the new French as a Second Language Advisory Committee (FSLAC) coordinator for Allenby. Erin will update us with news from the FSLAC and can provide parents with resources relating to both French immersion and Core French. Helping Hands for the Philippines
We are very happy to announce that $2280.00 was delivered to MÉDECINS SANS FRONTIÈRES (MSF) Thursday. Our funds raised will be matched by the Federal government. Thank you again to all the students and families who participated in the Helping Hands for the Philippines/Un Coup de main pour les Philippines fundraiser.
