In order to give back to our community this Thanksgiving, Allenby and the APA will be holding a food and essentials drive from Wednesday, October 14th to Friday, October 16th. Students are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food and/or personal care items to be dropped off as they enter the school yard during those three days. Collection bins will be available at each entrance to the school.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on everyone, it has made life particularly difficult for seniors. In the interest of helping the highest-risk seniors in our community, all items will be donated to the food bank at SPRINT Senior Care, which provides support for local seniors who are struggling to afford or access food and other essentials.
