Dressing for the Weather

This year of all years, outdoor time is precious. It is a time to get out of the classroom and building, have a mask break, move around, and maybe feel a little normal again.

We have been very lucky with the weather so far this year. There have been only a few rain days but as the fall and winter begin, we can expect more changes in the weather, especially while students are off-site. As such, it is important for students to come to school each day prepared for the weather. This could mean rainwear, waterproof outdoor footwear, gloves, hats, insulating layers, umbrellas, etc.

As you are helping your children get ready for school each day, remember that they could be outside for long periods of time. Let’s help students enjoy exploring the outdoors while dressed comfortably!
