Chair’s Message

There have been a number of emails that went out through APA representatives this week. I thought it might be helpful to provide a summary of those emails.

  • The RadTagz Pop Up Shop was open after school on Tuesday May 2. If you missed getting one of these nifty bands, or adding to your collection of “Tagz”, RadTagz will be available at the Fun Fair on June 3.
  • Lost & Found clearout originally scheduled for today, will be happening next week in anticipation of a rainy afternoon. Date and time will be confirmed on Monday. Classes will have the opportunity to visit the Lost & Found clearout, but if parents are looking for something specific, please try to drop by after school
  • Representatives have started to organize class baskets and raffle Items for the Fun Fair. Grades K-4 classes should have been contacted by their APA reps with an explanation of the class baskets, the assigned theme of your class’ basket and a request for donations. Grades 5 and 6 classes will be participating in a new raffle initiative. Donations are being collected by class reps until May 12. Please consider participating and thank you for your support!
  • The  Drop Zone sign up for May has been circulated to the 10 classes that have been asked to help out through the month. There are still many spots open, please consider signing up!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who are bringing forward these great initiatives and thank you to all parents for your support.
