The APA and school have spent a lot of money on tech toys (including SMART boards, Netbooks, and even a couple of iPads) and will debate the merit of further spending. But is technology spending in schools a worthy investment? A study (of 40 years of studies) out of Concordia University in Montreal concludes that it has had a “… positive impact on learning and attitude” and that “more recent, sophisticated applications of the technology produce greater positive gains than older applications.” Read the article from the Montreal Gazette (2-3 minutes).
