Traffic safety around the school is a major priority for both the APA and the school administration. In order to improve the flow of traffic and avoid congestion issues, the APA will continue to run a Drop Zone on both St. Clements and Castlefield.
For the month of September, if you have 20 minutes to spare on one or more mornings, we would love your help. Volunteering as a Traffic Monitor for a week or two, or even just one day, out of the school year, is not a big commitment. It keeps traffic moving, it increases student safety, and it’s social! Simply arrive at the Drop Zone, ensure that parents don’t park in the designated area, open car doors for our students, and help them out of the car and into the schoolyard. Safety vests to be worn can be found in the office where the attendance is done.
