Staffing for 2013-14

Hello Allenby Families,

It is hard to believe that there are only 2 more weeks until the end of the school year. Here is some staff news.

Denis Bell is leaving Allenby to teacher at Davisville P.S. We would like to thank Mr. Bell for his 2 years of conscientious and creative work with our students. Danielle Smith has decided to take all of next year as a parental leave to be with her new baby and hopes to return September 2014. Elva Alvarez and Eva Chau-Wolpert are coming back from parental leaves to begin in September. Elizabeth Nadel and Caroline Rosta, who some of you will remember, will also be back at Allenby in September.

Below is a chart with the teaching assignments and room locations for 2013 – 2014. An update about grades 5 and 6 English: We had an unprecedented number of new registrations in Grades 4 and 5, creating very large 4/5 class sizes. Accordingly, we have created a 5/6 class so that the class size discrepancy is minimized.
