Allenby has been selected to assist Michael “Pinball” Clemons and his Foundation execute a kindness initiative for the JUST GIVE campaign from June 1st – 5th, 2015. JUST GIVE is an awareness campaign with a mission to inspire everyone to give. On the first day of JUST GIVE, we are being asked to keep Kind in Mind and to spread a little kindness in Toronto by honouring our officers! Our students have been invited to write personalized thank-you letters to Toronto Police officers in our community. Allenby will be receiving a list of officer names and their division number.
A representative from the Foundation will pick up letters from our school and ensure that they are delivered to each Toronto Police division on June 1, 2015 as a surprise.This is a great opportunity to show a little gratitude to a group of men and women that serve and protect our city. Only a select group of schools have been invited.
Letters will need to be at school by May 26th for pick up by the Foundation. Please help us JUST GIVE back to our community by encouraging some letter writing at home.
