We are very happy to welcome Abbey Huggan to Allenby as our afternoon librarian. Abbey is a bilingual teacher with library and IT expertise as well as a passion for literacy and incorporating sustainable thinking into the curriculum.
Global Earth Hour
Tomorrow is the TDSB Earth Hour 2014 from 2 to 3 p.m.
At school, we’ll be using as little electricity as possible during the hour (in the office, in the halls, in the classrooms, in the library, in the gym). Last year, a new TDSB record was set reducing energy use by 30%. Where possible, the school will be reducing electricity usage over the weekend.
Here’s an opportunity for your child to share news from school to encourage the whole family to participate in the
