Get ready Allenby, Lip Synch is coming up! For those new to Lip Synch, it is an annual APA Fundraiser, but more importantly this event is all about spirit and fun! All students are invited to participate. All you need to do is grab a few friends, pick your favourite song to Lip Synch and have fun! If performing is not your thing, we invite all Allenby families to come out to the event. It is family-friendly and so much fun for the students to see friends perform, and a “Mystery Act” that is not to be missed! There is food, a “bling boutique,” photo booth and a few other surprises we are working on!
Calling all Grade 6’s… we invite all those interested in emceeing the event to sign up too! You can of course perform and emcee.
Tryouts will be Wednesday, Jan 27, Thursday Jan 28 and Friday January 29 from 8-9 am in the gym. Tryouts are for the purpose of ensuring we have a variety of song selections. All students who wish to be part of Lip Synch are welcome to participate.
Dress rehearsals will be the week of February 16 after school in the gym. Details to follow.
