This year we are also participating in another Family of Schools event that is a preparation for possible entry into a national event. It is the Kids Lit Quiz. This year, Allenby has the opportunity to send up to two teams (8 students) to Kids Lit Quiz, a national general reading knowledge competition being held at JRR on February 7. Last year students from one of the schools in our Family of Schools, Summit Heights made it to the finals in New Zealand! www.kidslitquiz.com
Allenby has the opportunity to send 2 teams of 4. All avid readers in Grade 5 and 6 who were interested took place in a preliminary quiz and the following students will be representing Allenby:
Marco Pannozzo and Claire Kim 114, Basile Montagnese, Adam Matthews, and Harrison Dunbar, 113, Annalise Wilcox 112, Duncan Rivers 214 and Eric Kerbel 111.
