The TDSB is proud to recognize important days of significance throughout the school year including a number of heritage and history months. TDSB Committees, made up of community members, Trustees, and staff are in place for many of these to plan activities that celebrate the month and our diverse TDSB community.

- Tuesday, September 19th: Powley Day—First Nations, Métis
- Tuesday, September 19th: Ganesh Chaturthi—Hinduism
- Wednesday, September 20th to Tuesday, September 26th: Ohigan: Autumn Festival—Japan and Buddhism (Shintoism)
- Thursday, September 21st: International Day of Peace—United Nations
- Thursday, September 21st to Friday, September 29th: Mabon—Wicca/Pagan
