Allenby’s Grade 6 Food Drive Leadership Group is launching a food drive campaign on Monday, November 7th for the North York Harvest Food Bank. You may send non-perishable food items to the school until Friday, November 25th. Collection boxes will be outside every classroom. The North York Harvest Food Bank appreciates all donations, however, they are most in need of the following items:
- Canned fish and meat
- Canned beans and pulses
- Canned tomatoes
- Baby Products (formula, food, diapers)
- Rice (or even quinoa!)
- Cooking oil
- Peanut Butter
- Pasta and Pasta Sauce
- Flour
- Low sugar cereals
- Low sodium instant meals and soups
- Nutritional supplements
