Get ready Allenby for the event of the year – The Big Night Out! This year’s theme is “Schoolapalooza”. What is Schoolapalooza, you ask? It is an adult only fundraising event brought to you by the APA that will feature live music, food, a silent auction and art. Watch here for more information about this exciting event and mark your calendars now for Thursday, February 4, 2016. You won’t want to miss it!
The net proceeds from the night will go to support APA funded school programmes such as scientist in the school, artist in the class, technology enhancements and classroom grants. Part of Schoolapalooza will be a silent auction featuring some fabulous experiences and merchandise. We can’t do it alone though – we need your help! We need items for our auction. So, get your thinking caps on and see what you could provide!
What do you have to offer?
- a cottage or timeshare that you could offer to a family
- a special skill like gardening, cooking, photography or crafting that you could offer to teach someone
