Spring is definitely here in spite of the still changeable weather. It is hard to believe how quickly time seems to be passing by.
The school participated in the TDSB Earth Hour last Friday from 2 to 3 pm, at which time all lights, computers and other devices using electricity were turned off for an hour. We had student announcers each day reminding us to be aware of our energy use and challenge us to move beyond the hour and minimize the use of lights on an ongoing basis, especially now that spring is here and there is more natural light. Towards the end of April we will be having an assembly that focuses on the Environment.
