APA Survey – We Want to Hear From You

All parents should expect an electronic survey during the week of December 10 from email address cansurvey@marketprobe.com.

The APA would like to hear about your satisfaction with Allenby/APA activities, your fundraising priorities and where you’d most like to allocate APA funds!

Please respond to the electronic survey by Fri. Dec. 21st!! Note: all responses are captured and compiled by a third party and individual responses are strictly confidential – neither Allenby School nor the APA can match responses with individuals.

Please note that all APA expenditures are voted on by parents at regularly scheduled, monthly APA meetings. Spending is presented as a motion and then voted on either at that same meeting (motions under $1000) or the following meeting (motions over $1000). The technology spending to date is the result of a multi-year initiative that began 4 years ago; prior to that APA spending on technology was minimal to none. The strategy was developed after surveying parents and holding brainstorming sessions at APA meetings. From there, specific technology spending has been allocated annually, in accordance with the APA voting bi-laws. To date, over half of Allenby’s classrooms have been outfitted with SMARTBoards and related peripherals. There are a number of classrooms still to be outfitted.
