Its that time of year again for ALLENBY BASEBALL!
Registration forms can be picked up in the office or downloaded here.
The cost is $20.00 per child. Payment is by cheque only and may be made payable to the “Allenby Parent’s Association” or “APA.” One cheque per child is required with the child’s name and parent’s contact information on it (in case the child drops out and it needs to be returned).
All registration forms with cheques need to be returned to office by Friday March 11, 2011. I will accept late registrations but I can’t guarantee a team t-shirt after the registration deadline.
The season will start the week of Monday May 2, 2011 and run to the week of June 20, 2011.
Similar to last year, the parents of all registered children will receive an email before their child’s first game with details of their child’s team, coach and team schedule.
Team pictures will be taken during the week of May 30, 2011. A savvy picture-taking parent who feels like volunteering their savvy picture-taking skills during that week would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to do it but can’t make any promises with respect to the results!
WE NEED VOLUNTEER COACHES! Please consider donating 1 hour of your time once a week to help the kids play baseball. It is a fantastic way to get to know your child’s peers at Allenby and it is a lot of fun – well except when it rains … but that NEVER happens …☺
