Get Your Tickets and Volunteer
We are aiming to sell 300 tickets this year and we are almost half way there! We need your help to reach our goal! A second ticket order form was sent home with your children this week. Please return forms and cheques to the school office. Tickets will also be available at the door, but pre-orders are encouraged. Thanks to parents who have already purchased Big Night Out tickets.
Remember to complete the volunteer section – we need more volunteers! To date we have filled only 17 of 50 shifts!

Auctions – Silent and Live
Local businesses, Allenby parents and Allenby teachers have donated Big Night Out auction items valued at over $30,000! Now it’s your turn to show support for our school and children. Bid on fantastic silent auction items for yourself, family, or friends! Get started on holiday shopping, with items for your home, family events and outings, neighbourhood shopping and dining, men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, jewelry, health and fitness services, kids’ programs, camps and birthday parties, gift baskets and certificates, and meals, teas, and activities with Allenby teachers! There are too many items to mention – for a detailed list, see the auction preview on the APA Website. Then bid on your favourites at Big Night Out!
The live auction at 9:00 p.m. will feature 2 Platinum Toronto Raptors tickets($500 value), “Fish Bowl,” a painting by Mr. Bell ($550 value), 1-year Fitness Membership at eMbody ($1750 value), a day with Mr. G. (priceless), Magen Boys Entertainment DJ Services ($750 value), and a MedCan Clinic Comprehensive Health Assessment ($2495 value). Bid early, and bid often!
Auction Payment
Don’t forget to bring cash or cheques to avoid auction check-out line-ups at the end of the night! Visa will also be accepted as payment.
Still Looking for a Babysitter?
Child care will be offered at Five Peas in a Pod (505 Eglinton Avenue West, Suite 200) between the hours of 6pm and 10pm. Child care rates are $10/child/hour with 50% of the proceeds being donated back to the Allenby Parent’s Association. A complimentary hot dinner will be provided for the children between the hours of 6pm and 7pm. Pre-registration for this child care service is required. Space is limited.
