Over 50 people at our first APA meeting of the year. There were new faces, great discussion and perspectives sharing, an update by Howard Goodman (Ward Trustee) and yummy food donated by Marigold and Onions! What a great way to start the year. To those who were unable to attend, please look for the Minutes, which will be posted on the APA website, and take a few moments to get up to date.
Highlights:
- Your 2012-2013 Executive Board was elected.
- A motion was passed to earmark $10,000 of surplus funds to show the TDSB that we are interested in investigating options for the field.
- The 2012-2013 Budget was passed.
- Discussion with Howard Goodman on the recent “pause” on extracurricular activities and the plan for a review of spacing options.
The October meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 30th instead of the scheduled Wednesday, October 31st so that we can all spend Halloween with our families.
