Get ready Allenby to support the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research!!
To kick off our Terry Fox fundraising campaign classes will be learning about the importance of kindness and caring as they look at the legacy that Terry Fox has created and participate in a community building celebration.
The Physical Education department will be organizing a fun run for students. On Sept 23 from 2-2:45 our students will lace up and run/walk or cheer! In addition, students will be gaining a greater understanding of how we can support cancer research and offer assistance to those who have had to face the challenges associated with this disease. A school announcement will encourage students to donate a dollar/toonie for Terry Fox.
Let’s get our fundraising going and show everyone how we can “ Try Like Terry”! Every donation made makes a huge difference in the lives of families and individuals dealing with Cancer.
