APA Speaker Series: Featuring Dr. Alex Russell, Author of\u00a0Drop the Worry Ball, on November 22,\u00a02017 \u2013 come join us!<\/strong><\/p>\n

On November 22nd, Dr. Alex Russell will\u00a0offer a perspective that aims to help parents take a positive and emotionally rewarding role in their children\u2019s lives, while allowing them to have the opportunity to make their own decisions (and mistakes) while they are growing up. He will\u00a0address the common challenges that parents face, including dealing with troublesome behaviours, supporting children at school, and controlling or monitoring children\u2019s access to computers, cell phones and other forms of digital technology.<\/p>\n

So far, we have had an enormous response from Allenby parents to this event! If you have signed up already, thank you and we look forward to seeing you on November 22nd.<\/p>\n

We have extended this invitation to other TDSB Ward 8 families who wish to attend and hear Dr. Russell\u2019s important and relevant message on the topic of raising resilient children and helping kids thrive in anxious times. So, if you haven\u2019t already signed up, please RSVP<\/a> ASAP. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your seat!<\/p>\n
