As stated in the letter, requests for specific teachers or classrooms will be disregarded. Placement in a low end of a combined grade classroom (i.e., a grade 4 student placed in a grade 4/5 classroom) will not provide any child with enrichment by virtue of being with older children. The expectation in ALL classrooms, combined or single grades, is that instruction is differentiated and that groupings will exist to promote guided/ small group instruction in order to meet the needs of all learners. Students in any classroom might function a grade or two above or below others academically, socially, emotionally, etc. In all cases, we will work towards building balanced classrooms based on a variety of information sources. Thank you once again for your input and continued partnership.

Junior Kindergarten Open House
As I write about next year, I am reminded about our new junior kindergarten students who will be joining us in September.
