Each class has a designated spot to line up for entry to the school. Please do not bring your child into the school to the classroom. It is important for us all both at home and at school to reinforce these routines with them.

Supervision: Although in the first few days of school, there will be some additional staff in the yard, in general, at entry time and at both recesses, we have 5 teachers on duty to support the students. These teachers will be wearing vests for easy recognition. At dismissal times, there is a teacher on duty at the top of the stairs to help ensure that older students also make their way quickly and safely to the bottom of the stairs. All parents, please wait for the students at the bottom of the stairs. We need to keep the landing free for the safety of the Grade 1’s and for all the students exiting the school at the end of the day.

Special routines for Grade 1: On Tuesday morning, the Grade 1 teachers will have copies of the special routines for Grade 1 during the first 2 weeks of school.
