I hope that everyone enjoyed a relaxing March Break with family and friends. I have to say I have been extremely envious this week hearing about the wonderful holidays that many families enjoyed over the break resulting in me already searching for destinations for next March Break. It has been a busy short week at Allenby and due to Easter weekend, we will have another short week next week.<\/p>\n
You will see that our parent volunteers overseeing lost and found at Allenby have been busy clearing out the plentitude of student belongings. Teachers are working to encourage students to pick up their items from the coat racks and hallways each day and deliver any unclaimed items to the lost and found area at the St. Clements’ doors to make it easier for students to locate these items. Please encourage your children to be responsible with their items and if any item does not make it home, ask them to visit the lost and found to collect it, with you accompanying only if needed. Even given the size of our school population, there is an abundance of unclaimed items at Allenby. This will only change when the students take responsibility for their belongings, with our encouragement of course.<\/p>\n
