Allenby will be participating in the WR3 Regional Spelling Bee competition<\/strong> in April again this year; registration will be open during the month of January. You can register online<\/a> or through the school.<\/p>\n

On the online registration form, select WR3 school<\/strong> as your the contestant’s region. If you prefer, you can pick up a registration form at school and return it, along with the $35 fee (cheques are payable to Spelling Bee of Canada), marked attention Ms. Trought-Pitters.<\/p>\n

Skills, in addition to literacy, gained by participating in the spelling bee include public speaking, listening and study skills, and perseverance.
