It is a new global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black\u00a0Friday. The \u201cOpening day of the giving season,\u201d it is a day where charities, companies, schools\u00a0and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes and think about others.<\/p>\n<p>To kick-off the season of giving, the APA is holding\u00a0our\u00a02nd annual\u00a0winter clothing drive\u00a0in support of students in need at neighbouring TDSB elementary schools. Please take a look in your closets for gently used children&#8217;s and\/or adult&#8217;s winter coats, snowpants, boots, hats and mitts and <strong>drop them off between\u00a0November 25 and December 1 in the box located outside the Allenby office<\/strong>. We will distribute the items to the schools on\u00a0GivingTuesday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friendly request: If you are able to wash your\u00a0winter wear\u00a0before donating, please place a note on your donation stating that they are clean.
