Allenby is a place undergoing many changes right now, both outside the building and within. We are sad to say good-bye to our Head Caretaker, Mr. Rodney Manone, who is moving on to Forest Hill Collegiate Institute next week. He has been a constant face here for the past 4 years, even working most weekends. Everyone wishes him the best at his new school next week. Our new Head Caretaker will be Mr. Raymond Yeung. Rodney will be greatly missed; however, we are very excited to welcome Raymond. <\/p>\n
Another big change for Allenby will be the secondment of our prized Librarian, Ms. Andrea Payne, who will be filling a central position at the board as a Professional Leader of Learning. Anyone who knows Ms. Payne will understand how difficult it is going to be for us to find a replacement for the next three years as she takes her skills, knowledge and professionalism to other schools as a TDSB consultant. She will be amazing and hopefully she will come to visit us. <\/p>\n
