{"id":2574,"date":"2013-01-17T16:01:05","date_gmt":"2013-01-17T21:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/allenbyparents.com\/blog2\/?p=2574"},"modified":"2013-01-16T16:54:28","modified_gmt":"2013-01-16T21:54:28","slug":"its-lice-check-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allenbyparents.com\/blog2\/its-lice-check-time\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Lice Check Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The team from the Lice Squad will be coming in for our second lice check of the school year on <strong>Monday, January 28 and Tuesday, January 29<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>STUDENTS:  Please make sure you have clean hair on these days  and avoid any  &#8220;fancy&#8221; hairstyles (e.g. braids, gel, pony tails, etc.)  as our team of  pickers will need to check your hair thoroughly.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>VOLUNTEERS   NEEDED: Due to the number of students, we will be doing checks for two   full days. We are looking for parent volunteers who can <strong>help escorting  classes<\/strong> and checking off names as classes arrive. We will need at least  two  (2) volunteers for each shift (one volunteer will be dedicated to  the  kindergarten wing).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>While this makes you  feel itchy, it is actually a wonderful way to meet the students of  Allenby. <strong>You will NOT have to check hair.<\/strong> (The team from Lice Squad will  do that!). All we need is your help in  escorting\/supervising small  groups of children to and from the lice  check station.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>MONDAY &amp; TUESDAY shifts:<\/div>\n<div>9:00-9:50 AM<\/div>\n<div>9:50 &#8211; 10:40 AM<\/div>\n<div>10:55-11:45 AM<\/div>\n<div>12:45-1:35 PM<\/div>\n<div>1:35-2:30 PM<\/div>\n<div>2:45-3:35 PM<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please contact Gillian Uy at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:gmbenson@rogers.com\" target=\"_blank\">gmbenson@rogers.com<\/a> to   volunteer.
