Allenby has a few exciting garden projects coming up in the next few weeks. We have to do maintenance on our Woodland garden, plant our PollinateTO garden, and we are going to partner with the Bowery Project to install a mini urban farm.<\/p>\n
We need willing hands to help with digging, moving soil, planting, edging, and creating signage for our various\u00a0learning gardens<\/strong>. (There is also weeding, but this is challenging as many of our native plants are considered weeds, and many of our weeds are welcome additions to decorative gardens.)\u00a0\u00a0If you have any time and are interested, please reach out to\u00a0Alanna Julian\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0so you can be\u00a0included\u00a0in our upcoming garden development days.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n We are also seeking families to commit to watering the Allenby Garden from June to August. Please commit to watering at least twice a week (three times in a heat wave).
