{"id":14233,"date":"2026-03-09T09:26:34","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:26:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.allenbyparents.com\/blog2\/?p=14233"},"modified":"2026-03-09T09:26:34","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:26:34","slug":"lip-sync-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allenbyparents.com\/blog2\/lip-sync-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Lip Sync 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">It\u2019s that time of year again\u2026 our beloved Allenby Lip Sync returns on\u00a0<strong>April 30th!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme is\u2026\u00a0<strong>Allenby Masked Singer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Lip-sync to your favourite song, add some creative choreography, and have fun performing!<\/p>\n<p><strong>New This Year<\/strong>: Every act must include at least one mask, costume element, or prop (e.g., hats, capes, headbands, canes, giant glasses, disco ball).<\/p>\n<p>No singing or performance experience required. Form a group, come up with a group name, choose a song, and start rehearsing!<\/p>\n<p>Registration is open to students in Grade\u00a01 and up.<\/p>\n<p>Groups must consist of\u00a0at least 3\u00a0students, and each student can only be part of one group.<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>Parents, please register your child\u2019s Lip Sync 2026 group\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/CfZ6198J6NH94p5o7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/forms.gle\/CfZ6198J6NH94p5o7&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1772726392347000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1WyMkoKuAnT9Nl6KJwFIqc\">here<\/a><strong>\u00a0by April 3<\/strong>. Each group must have one parent representative.<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>Grade 6 volunteers\u2014Calling all grads!<\/strong>\u00a0Want to get involved? We\u2019re looking for enthusiastic Grade 6 volunteers to help with Lip Sync 2026. We need volunteers to emcee and be stagehands to support performers.
