Four primary root causes have been found to\u00a0affect outcomes for deaf people,\u00a0including\u00a0limited access to language and communication, reduced social opportunities, negative attitudes and biases, and lack of qualified and experienced professionals.<\/p>\n<p>You can support deaf persons in our community by learning the terminology around how they define themselves.
