This year, the TDSB recognized Children\u2019s Mental Health Week\u00a0from May 2\u00a0to 6, 2022.\u00a0 We are continuing the conversation, specifically\u00a0for parents, guardians, staff and caregivers, with a focus on Mental Health and Well-being for Newcomer.<\/p>\n
Equity is central in supporting\u00a0mental health and well-being for everyone. We prioritize identity affirming supports for\u00a0students, parents, guardians and caregivers, from an anti-oppressive and anti-racist stance. We aim to continue fostering a deeper understanding of the impact intersecting identities have on mental health and well being.\u00a0This allows us to develop identity specific and culturally responsive resources and supports.<\/p>\n
