Students in Grades 4-6 will have the opportunity to participate in a number of track and field events over the next 4 weeks. Some of the events will be taking place during their Physical Education classes, while others will be open to students as tryouts before school at 8:00 AM.
The first Track and Field meet is being held on May 15th at Esther Shiner Stadium. Students will be informed of when specific events (in-class & before school) will be held. In addition, we will publish a schedule in next week’s newsletter.
Students in Grades 4-6 who are interested in trying out for the 1500m and 800m runs should meet Miss. Levitt, Mr. Friedman and Ms. Donovan next Wednesday, April 26th @ 8:00 AM on the field.
