The APA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee works with the school to foster engagement, productivity, and dialogue with Allenby families to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Allenby student and family community.
We accomplish this through sharing resources and information in the newsletter, organizing educational events, and advocating for policies and procedures that align with DEI practices.
For this school year, our activities will be guided by 3 key questions/priorities:
- How can we continue to make Allenby a safe and inclusive space for our kids?
- How can we promote continued compassion and understanding in our community?
- What are some ways in which parents can get support from one another?
