he 33rd Annual Allenby Lip Sync will take place on Thursday, February 29th in the evening and we need your help to make it the best one yet!
Some of our community might be wondering … what is Lip Sync? Lip Sync is one of the most anticipated school community events of the year! Students choose their favourite songs, choreograph some fabulous dance moves, coordinate their costumes, and put on an amazing night of entertainment in the Allenby gym! Grade 6 students are the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the night, the APA has concessions and the always popular “bling boutique,” and most importantly, the community comes together to cheer on our student performers. It’s a fun night of pure joy (and sugar)!
Thank you to those who have already volunteered, but we are still looking for some additional help on the committee – planning the dress rehearsal, organizing music, planning concessions, or creating signage, there are many different opportunities to get involved! The first planning meeting will take place Monday, January 22nd at 7pm.
