Dear Allenby Families,<\/div>\n

We want to remind you again to come to the\u00a0APA\u00a0meeting\u00a0this\u00a0Wednesday,<\/strong>\u00a0March 27th\u00a0from 7:00-9:00pm.\u00a0 It will be held in\u00a0the\u00a0Library<\/strong>. There will be some regular business held before the Space Committee presentation.<\/p>\n

We will be outlining\u00a0all options under consideration, and will be seeking to obtain the\u00a0preferred<\/em>\u00a0Allenby\u00a0options<\/strong>\u00a0to accommodate\u00a0FDK\u00a0and increased\u00a0enrolment\u00a0at\u00a0Allenby. There will be a voting process, which we are cautiously calling an official vote, as it will not be an exact science. The results of that ‘vote’ will be used to help determine which options the 2 parent PART representatives will present at the PART meeting on April 2<\/strong>. We will ask for it to be one vote per household so please respect that request. In order to determine the number of “households at the meeting,\u00a0you will be asked to sign in so that we can keep track of how many people are in attendance.<\/div>\n

Allenby\u00a0parents will have\u00a0another<\/strong>\u00a0chance to discuss the options at the\u00a0April 16th\u00a0Public Meeting, which might have refined options based on what the other schools involved have presented.\u00a0No decisions about how to\u00a0 accommodate\u00a0FDK\u00a0and increased enrolment at\u00a0Allenby\u00a0will be made without consulting with the\u00a0Allenby\u00a0Parents<\/strong>. We empathize with the frustration of not having information available as quickly as you have wanted it. It is a process that is filled with data requests, assimilation and analysis of data, and committee discussions.<\/div>\n

Please come to the meeting tomorrow night to fully understand the options for\u00a0Allenby\u00a0and voice your thoughts on those options. Don’t wait until April 16th. This is the meeting to get the full list of options, the thought process and data behind them and cast your vote.<\/div>\n

Babysitting is available with an RSVP to\u00a0\u00a0Paula\u00a0Riczker<\/a>\u00a0if you require childcare. Just a note that there are large numbers of children requiring childcare already so it is important to let us know so we can attempt to have appropriate supervision.<\/div>\n
